Seen this lunchtime ... (or rather *not* seen), the giant 'new-style'
Met Office wavy logo has now come down from the 'Met Office roundabout'
end of Napier Shaw (either yesterday or this morning).

snip

How does it look on the front of your house Martin ? ;-)

Jon.

.... I understand that you haven't got one yet? Perhaps it's on its way
down the Motorway even now!! (I wouldn't be seen dead with the thing -
now, if it was the old cockerel ..... )

Martin.

Now you mention it I think you're right, all I've seen is a makeshift
logo/sign at the entrance to Fitzroy Road.
Construction work is still going on so I'd imagine it's one of the final
nails.

I still carry my cockerel umbrella !

LOL, the "chicken on a stick" , yeah great logo that was, sorry when he was shot
from his perch and replaced with those wavy lines full of zest, energy, promise,
integrity, and ... er waviness.

Hey just heard that Uncle Ken needs a logo thingy for his Met. Office,
perhaps a certain German web site may be able to help :-)

Will.
