Do you know something Danny, with this cryptic remark, or are we back to the
law of Murphy?

I have to be honest, my old Slegde is hanging on the wall as a Memento.

Before long, it'll become an antique...

I have just recently purchased an old set of ski's of eBay with the general
idea of turning them into a sledge for the kids, well OK for me.

I just hope I get a chance to utilise them.

Oooooo, a sledge, I dreamed of owning a sledge when I was younger. All I had
was a bin liner to ride those wintry slopes, and if the snow wore too thin
and a little rock protruded through...... my voice has always been higher
since those snowy days.

Well I used my sledge to good effect last year and it is all ready to go *when*
the snow hits this winter !

One Sunday last winter it was like Cairngorm mountain up here on Haytor with all
the car parks full and people parking on the road, ice cream and hot dog stalls
and people whizzing down the slopes on plastic bags, sledges, bums etc etc.
Sadly the next day it was all gone.

Luckily I had my very own short sled run in the garden.

Whhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Will.

I suppose it's a rare winter which doesn't produce snow somewhere in the UK.
