Low pressure lies to the northeast of the UK over Scandinavia. High
pressure (1027mb) lies over Spain, and ridges northwards towards
Greenland. Winds across the UK are mainly fresh to strong
north/northwesterlies. Most parts will be mainly dry and bright, but
showers in the north and east, wintry on hills. Temperatures will be
close to or just below normal.

Summary:
After a rather cool and settled start to the new week, a return to
milder and more unsettled conditions from off the Atlantic looks
likely. However, most of the unsettled weather looks like being
restricted to the north and west of the UK.
