"Christmas forecast headline: Possibly cold and very wintry
Current indications are suggesting a greater than average chance of very
cold and wintry weather for much of the UK during the Christmas period.
Although there is still a LOT of uncertainty and confidence is low, we are
forecasting Christmas week to be cold and wintry for most of the UK. Snow is
possible for most areas, and accumulations maybe significant. There is also
the possibility of snow actually falling on Christmas day".

My Comment:

I wonder what the real odds are at the moment.
Darren Prescott on his chart forecasts today has a couple of hints and they
seem bigger than they have been for some time. I am afraid that I have to be
cynical over white Xmas prospects, however, it is good to see that it is on
the agenda anyway.
I still find it hard to see though as today sees yet more double figure
maximums and the daffodils put on a bit more growth. Are they going to get a
fright soon.
