Just watched Alex Deakin on bbc1, I'm not sure how the forecast was
constructed exactly, but it does seem a little off track. First of all shower activity is taking a south easterly track, with wet snow, sleet and rain being reported all afternoon in places, I find it hard to see how Blizzard conditions come in from the east into London in the early hours and give 15 cms when the wind is NW or Northerly . I understand that East Anglia is due for some snow from showers spilling down from the north , but this isn't coming in from the east and it certainly isn't blizzards, if it was, there would of been pictures of blizzards on the news from Scotland, with Northern England being covered - has this happened - No. So neither will Blizzards in London with 15cms, get a clue BBC No dount if one flake falls in London , Tony Blair will have to make an annoucement that the city will have to close down. |
