If anything at all - I would guess at 2am onwards - by watching radar
animations - but who can tell this evening ?!

For all those asking a similar question, go here
http://www.metoffice.com/aviation/index.html
register (for free), select "Briefing Charts" under the British Isles tab
and then the F215 UK Low-level forecast charts. These, combined with the
latest radar and satellite will show you where things are currently
happening and give you a good idea as to where the snow 'boundaries' are
expected to lie.

Hi Jon,

I'm glad to see someone is still up (little one not feeling well), nothing
here in Bedford however wind has been gusting in the past few minutes and
temperature has just fallen to -0.1.

Not sure that we will see any white stuff, however it would be and excuse
not to go into work early

Chris

Jon it was late when I tried to register. What a load of shennanigans with
passwords and bleedin user names. Only the to find out radar was £40.00 per
year or something like that.

Lawrence, the standard briefing service is free and includes the charts I
mentioned and hourly radar which can also be found directly in the main
radar section of the site
(http://www.metoffice.com/weather/europe/uk/radar/). The subscription
service adds 15min radar (larger, sharper image compared to the above) and
5min high resolution sferics amongst other things. Once you've set up your
account you should be able to get your browser to remember your
username/password.

Jon.
