OT Rather cold in Finland
Helsinki-Vantaa airport (8km from us)
23.12.2003 09:00 local time temperature -17.8 °C pressure 1012.9 hPa humidity 84 % west 2.7 m/s clouds 1/8 snow depth 6 cm. The snow depth must have been effected by blowing snow, as we showeled some 30 cm from the parking lot. Yesterday's very cold and windy weather and blowing snow caused trouble in the rail system and 20 trains were cancelled. Whooa, I'm going to wear a hat and a hood and two pair of gloves when I go walking my neighbours dogs. Have a nice holiday break, best regards for the new year, Elena |
