Wangled a lift up to Clee Hill (Shrops) this afternoon, and more to the
point, up to the car park at Dhustone, which is over 500m asl. 3 deg C according to the in-car thermometer, which seemed about right. Thin covering of snow out of direct sunlight above about 400m - there was none in Clee Hill village (~350m). Lots of sunshine, but a biting WNW wind, and some very leaden-looking clouds over towards Wales. -- Above address *is* valid - but snip spamtrap to get me to *read*!
