![]() "Philip Eden" philipATweatherHYPHENukDOTcom wrote in message .. . Suddenly ... big, wet, heavy lumps of snow in the rain since 1450Z. Temp now 1.3șC (was 2.5șC half an hour ago). Philip Eden Luton (155m AMSL) 1505Z ... clearly something front-like has gone through. The ppt has stopped, the very low cloud has vanished, the vis has improved, and it's much lighter. The temp, though, is still falling ... now 0.7șC. pe |

Cf the interesting imagery from Chilbolton today- http://www.rcru.rl.ac.uk/weather/cloudradar.htm Can anybody confirm a 'Seeder-Feeder effect' is shown here? Less clear evidence of a frontal passage in the met data- http://www.rcru.rl.ac.uk/weather/metdata.htm tho pressure started to rise at 1330 ish -- regards, david (add 17 to waghorne to reply) |
