Started snowing about 1930. Temp rose from 0C to 1.2C over the
preceeding couple of hours then fell sharply, to 0C. Wind has been variable but steadly rising from none at 0500 this morning to F9, gusting to 50mph+, at 2200. Haven't had a blow like this for a while. Snow is fine and blowing about hard to say how much we have had but not a great deal as the drifts are only a few inches deep. There is something still blowing about but can't tell if that is falling or just wind blown old stuff. Snow plough just drove past and as they tend not to got out until the worst has past, I guess that's it for the night. Live station readings at 22:44:20 Temperature Outside: 0.3°C Inside: 18.1°C Wind Chill: -19°C Wind 5 sec gust: 46mph 207° (SSW) 1 Min Average: 52mph (F9 Severe Gale) 226° (SSW) -- Cheers Dave. pam is missing e-mail |
