![]() ================================================== ================== This posting expresses the personal view and opinions of the author. Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do. ================================================== ================== 1000 4/1/03 Ground frost now melted and sun shining brightly in almost clear blue sky with just a bit of cirrus. Temp now 5.5 deg C and I'm looking down on extensive fog all around on lower ground with fog top estimated at around 200m. It's "above the inversion" days like this that more than make up for the many days of drizzle and low cloud we get in winter (like yesterday) ! We've got yet another day of gloom here in High Wycombe. The sun has not shined here since last Sunday! A few flakes of snow yesterday afternoon, then heavy drizzle from teatime onwards. The sun was obscured by thick fog on Wednesday until the cloud rolled in, and whilst yesterday was brighter (i.e. you didn't need the light on at midday) the sun still didn't manage to break through the cloud. I'm beginning to think I'm living in the gloomiest place in Britain. We've only had two sunny days since 21st December! Looking at WetterZentrale and Grads, next Thursday night looks mighty windy in the south. You hinted that it might be stormy. We seem to be over dosing on Sunshine on the Lincolnshire coast - sunny all
morning yesterday - sunny all day today so far (and a pleasantly mild feeling 6.5C). Paul "Nigel Morgan" wrote in message ... I can confirm it's pretty murky down below, Will. Similar conditions to what can been seen at Yeovil on BBC1, although it has brightened up a bit with a watery sun now visible. Jon.
