Mild, very wet and very windy is the general theme for the week ahead.

John Craven said that next weeks Countryfile would be from the BBC
Weather centre and mentioned that they would be talking about the
implications of Global Warming. He also said if anyone had any
questions on this topic to e-mail Countryfile.

Which will be presented as theories rather than certanties?

Discussing theories sounds like good science to me.

It will also include an interview with George Cowling who, 50 years ago,
was the first on-screen weather presenter on British television. George
worked with me for 5 years at Noble Denton in the mid-1980s after he
retired from the Met Office. I still see him from time to time. Now in
his 80s he's still going strong and still enjoying his golf.

George will also be on BBC Breakfast sometime in the next 2 weeks but
I'm not sure exactly when.

Norman.

Exactly. If I remember it's on, I trust I will hear what "might happen"
rather than what "will happen".
