Freezing Saturday in Brussels
Brussels on Saturday 3 January
On Saturday I was away in London for the day but I think Brussels was bright with some sunshine and increasing high cloud. Hard frost at first and temperature stayed well below freezing all day. My departure from Brussels by Eurostar train on Saturday morning was delayed by 45 minutes as a result of "technical problems caused by the frost" to the train ! Brussels Airport -2.2°C - overnight minimum -8.3°C. No figures available from Uccle again.
