Does anybody know of free animatin sware that wld do the job?

Hi David,

http://www.eumetsat.de/en/m_area5.html

best regards,
Alan
Thanks for pointing this out .they've improved this salot since I last looked.Seem to have hrly
imagery today at least.
It wld be nice to make use of the half hrly images from Dundee and they've better contrast,
If any body's lurking from there can I request a nice new animation page please ?;-)

| My patented "wheelie-bin-ometer" went spinning across the garden
| around 8 am this morning thus, confirming gusts of 40mph or more.

My bin went flying around too but EGNX (East Mids) only has winds to
high 20KTS.

Hampshire wheelie's are made of tougher stuff (and mine's in a
sheltered corner!)

PS Watch out for copyright etc with that image.

I always take down the odd image I link to, after a day or so (and you
can't get at 'em through my homepage). And they'll potentially
benefit from the publicity so I doubt if they'll ask me to stop - but
I will if they do

I live in Taunton, Somerset and the weather here is terrible! Heavy rain and
very strong gusty winds!

Cleared up quite nicely for my cycle ride to work at 8.45am, and the high wind
helped dry the roads off a bit.

Nothing in the link or page shown as to the image source or any
contact details. Knock up a quick bit of HTML with the image so that
you can directly credit them and provide a link to their site.
