Widespread showers move over Ireland and into western Britain on Thursday
night. Showers also in northern England, the Midlands and eastern England
on Friday morning. Area of more general rain moves from south Wales across
central southern England on Friday afternoon. Thunder in places in the
Midlands. Showers become lighter and more scattered elsewhere and largely
confined to western Scotland in the evening.
