That's my home town! Where do you live? I kept records in Scarborough.
near Peasholm, through my teenage years (the 60's). Keep the reports
coming. My record was 30°C (Stevenson screen, MO thermos etc). They've
moved the official station about 3 times since I was there, just to
improve sunshine, I think. It's now up near the reservoir on a hill and
doesn't represent the town at all, unless you live on the outskirts of
Falsgrave.

Just 22.7°C here in Copley,

I live just up the road from Peasholm on the north side of the town. Im not
sure whereabouts the official station is today though.
