Low pressure (990mb) lies over Scotland. High pressure (1020mb) lies
towards the Azores, with another high (1035mb) to the north of
Greenland. Winds across the country are moderate to fresh
west/northwesterlies in the south, light and variable in the north.
Most areas will see a mix of sunshine and showers at times, perhaps
wintry on northern hills. Temperatures will be close to normal in most
parts. Beyond this conditions remain unsettled with further rain or
showers - possibly wintry in the north at times.

+5C in the north to +9C in the far south. Beyond this conditions
remain mostly unsettled, with wintry showers possible anywhere for a
time.

(1025mb) lies to the southwest of Spain in the Atlantic. Winds across
the country are mainly moderate west/northwesterlies. Many parts will
see sunshine and showers at times, possibly wintry in the north,
whilst temperatures will be close to normal.

Summary:
A cooler end to the week seems likely with a mix of sunshine and
showers for many, these showers probably wintry in the north
especially. As we go towards next weekend, there are considerable
differences in the models, so more runs are needed.
