High pressure (1030mb) lies in the Bay of Biscay, with another high
(1025mb) well to the north of the UK. Low pressure (995mb) lies over
the Baltic, with another low (965mb) well to the west of the UK in the
Atlantic. Winds across the country are moderate west/northwesterlies,
light in the northeast. Most areas will be rather dry and cloudy, with
some rain possible towards the north. Temperatures will be close to or
just above normal in most parts. Beyond this there is little change,
with milder Atlantic air moving in, and most of the unsettled weather
in the northwest.

the west of the UK in the Atlantic. Winds across the country are
mostly moderate to fresh west/northwesterlies. Most parts will be
mainly dry and cloudy. 850hpa temperatures range from +1C in the
southeast to +5C in the west. Forecast 2m temperatures are close to
+9C or +10C in all parts. Beyond this there is little change, with the
northwest seeing most of the unsettled weather.

to the west of the UK in the Atlantic. Winds across the country are
mostly moderate to fresh west/northwesterlies. Many areas will be
mainly dry and fine. Temperatures will be close to or just below
normal. Beyond this high pressure settles to the southwest of the UK,
allowing milder Atlantic winds to dominate, with the northwest seeing
most of the unsettled weather.

a northwesterly quarter. Most parts will be mainly dry and bright.

southwest. Temperatures will generally be close to normal. Beyond this
conditions change very little for a time, before turning unsettled
later from the west.

mostly light to moderate: west/northwesterly in the south; southerly
in the northwest. Most parts will see mostly dry and bright conditions
under the ridge of high pressure. 850hpa temperatures range from -5C
in the northeast to +5C in the southwest. Temperatures will be close
to, or just below in the northeast, normal. Beyond this high pressure
settles to the south of the UK, allowing much milder Atlantic air in
with most of the unsettled conditions in the northwest.

(1029mb) lies close to the Bay of Biscay. Winds across the country are
mainly moderate west/northwesterlies. Many areas will be at risk of
seeing rain or showers, but turning drier and brighter in the
southwest later. Temperatures will be close to or just below normal.

Summary:
The models continue to show a milder spell of weather next week for
all parts, with most of the unsettled conditions in the north and
west.
