Will.
Its a good job you live where you do, as if that price was mentioned where I live. The screen and the earth it was standing on would have gone before the morning. Regards. Len. "Will" wrote in message ... Hi Rob, I think there is only one supplier. I got mine from Jonathan Wright of Metspec Ltd who delivered it personally ! See www.metspec.net for more info. The screens are absolutely superb and almost totally weatherproof, but not cheap. Mine cost circa £450 (without stand). I made my own stand out of wood. You are such a tease Will. You've almost got me believing that the a new UK low temp record will occur in the next few weeks. By the way, where do you get UPVC screens from? Regards, Rob Chester, UK http://www.west-cheshire.ac.uk/weather/ "Will" wrote in message ... danny wrote in message . .. Mid January is now, usually, the herald of Spring, and it certainly 'looks' that way at the moment. ---------------------------------------------------------- "Gavin Staples" wrote in message ... Just seen Philip Eden's forecast for this week in Today's Sunday Telegraph. My goodness this month is boring. Yet another mild week in store. Another FANTASTIC day here in Haytor. Warm January sunshine, 40 miles visibility, light wind and frost persisting in the shade. Max temp 6.0 deg C and temp. falling away again now. The only thing missing is a snow cover :-) Spent the morning cleaning my UPVC Stevenson screen (new Met Office standard with black slats inside) and sawing logs (ready for the cold spell end Jan/begin Feb). Yes it *could* be Spring but up here the weather can change in the blink of an eye to gales, rain and fog which is definitely not Spring-like. I'm going to enjoy the moment, accept what I'm given and go out for a long walk in the countryside.
