Before we all get carried away by the latest set of models from GFS -
perhaps a few of you should check out Paul Bartlett's sobering
snowwatch forecast for Rutland on the Rutnet site.

"The weather looks like staying mild for several days. Then winds
swinging northerly at the end of the month - so turning colder with
some rain or sleet, and icy night and morning. Lying snow now seems a
bit unlikely before the middle of February. Confidence rather low."

Of course there's every chance he'll be wrong.
