The practical problems of severe weather and it's effect are beyond most of them. Hum, so why do I have more than a weeks worth of non perishable food in the cupboards, backup lighting, heating and cooking provision, plenty of warm clothing and excess warm bedding etc etc Wonder how many have wives and girlfriends? Few. Partner and two kids (7 & 4). SWMBO doesn't like snow all that much but the two kids do, unfortunately being at 1400' snow is quite often powder and useless for constructional purposes. Still at least my kids get to build two or three snowmen a year. I was speaking to an old college friend who lives in Birmingham the other day, his eldest is not that short of going to university, they have never built a snowman... -- Cheers Dave. pam is missing e-mail |
