That loks a bit wide of the mark. 510 is over southern Scandinavia,
according to the chart you quote.

The chart must have changed then.
It was there this morning.

I was referring to the 00z run which was on the page at about 5:00am this morning.
By 10:43 (the timing of your post) the 06z run was displayed.

GFS has been fluctuating a lot recently. Lets hope it reverts to a cold prediction and stays that
way.

Brendan.
It matters little what the GFS predicts. What will happen will happen,
either cold or mild. The charts just hype us up or let us down. And like
lambs to the slaughter, we just follow.
Lets enjoy the excitement only while it lasts.
Best regards. Len.

Better still, do what I do most of the time - ignore the forecasts. If
it then snows it's a great surprise, if it doesn't you're not
disappointed. Simple.
