Looks like TWO are having more problems.. have they been booted by their
ISP.. the site is redirected to the hosting company now.. not good for them
at this busy time..

Thats what I was thinking.. not a good time for this to happen.. he should
get some quality linux hosting.. at least his server will have a better
chance of coping in these busy periods than it does under Windows..

If you are moving your site to a new webserver you should have the site set
up on your new host, and then change your DNS over while the old site is
still live. I suppose because of the high traffic maybe he hasn't had the
time to wait for the DNS to expire..

Actually.. before you change over you should set the TTL on your DNS to 5
minutes for 24 hours or so... then the change would be very smooth.. but
that takes even longer..
