I posted this on Jan 19th, before much talk of a cold spell,based purely on
the UKMO chart so claim no credit if it hapens now. "Looking at the UKMO chart for Saturday it would appear that Scotland is influenced by NW'lies and in sub 528 dam air. There is a low developing to the NW which, if the front tracked S.E as it appears it might, would there not be a good chance of snow there Sat night/Sunday? This is at the limit (T+120) at which I would really take any notice and there does seem a lot of doubt around at the moment. As ever ...... no, no, sorry Darren!" Dave |
