Started snowing here about 15 mins with large flakes which started to settle
almost straight away. Last night's band was very disappointing with a very small amount of wet snow which quickly turned to rain. I'm so glad the roads & surfaced have had chance to dry out overnight! Judging by the radar images we may possibly be in for quite a spell of snow here as that long finger of weather seems to be heading straight for the Cheshire Gap and we're just on the westerly edge of that :-)) All the best David.
