German border.

Heavy showers with hail and thunder and fierce squalls in places moved north
over the east of the country late on Monday afternoon and in the evening.
Near Groenlo - SW of Enschede near the German border - hailstones 3 cm
across were observed, small trees were blown down, crops stripped down to
the stalks, and tiles removed from the roofs of houses.

Rainfall - Nieuw Beerta 4 mm, Losser (near Enschede) 4.2 mm, Doetinchem
(near Arnhem) 4.5 mm, Hoogeveen 6 mm, Groningen-Eelde 9 mm, Hupsel 28 mm.
