A couple of other METARS had WHT or GRN at the end, that too? .... they are airfield 'fitness' colours, used by military: From BLU best, through WHT GRN YLO (1 and 2), AMB and RED. I'll try and find a link to the definitions, though someone may beat me to it! Martin. |

I believe BLACK covers things such as very strong cross-wind, iced-up or
