Default [WR] Windsor/Newbury

Same lightning and heavy snow when I left work in Newbury. Everyone hit
roads at the same time I think before it got too deep. Result was huge
traffic problems - the A4 was jammed.

Took me 1hr door to door this morning, vs. a 2hr journey this evening.

Snow cover about 2cm in Windsor - although roads are mostly clear. I
imagine it will be treacherous tomorrow. Does anyone know what the
grit/salt lowers the freezing temperature to?
