What the f*ck are you on?

Due to what? cold? increased ozone?

What were we (as forecasters) supposed to do? change the weather? Did this
12 y/o adhere to the warnings in place since last Monday?

Chris says...

A Spurs supporter being the champ of his manor. That don't happen very often

I know, I know... But as the bloke across the road from me is a Millwall fan,
I have to keep him in check :-)

This Millwall fan, who lives opposite me, came out of hospital just after
Christmas. Triple bypass operation. Serious stuff, so I'm told. He was out
there having a whale of a time with the rest of us.

He was happy too.

Fortunately - for the 12 year old kid turning blue with an asthamatic
attack - my service provided me with a 4x4 vehicle which allowed us to get
oxygen and a nebuliser in time to save her life....

I hope you all think snow is fun.

I'm sure I'm one of the few who broke a sweat in these conditions.

Just making the point.

If it wasn't for guys like these, your "service" would not have supplied you
with a 4X4. They enthuse about their job/hobby, ensuring that people such as
your employers know the prevailing weather conditions and act on them. These
guys (sorry, and girls) try to outguess what will happen, not create it.
You should be thanking them, not "making a point". /rant off. ; )

Stuart.

I agree, whilst we would all have sympathies with the girl, this is not the
place to post the somewhat childish sentiment of "Hope your happy
now........"

He's obviously got nothing better to do than take his frustrations out
on us. I wonder if he imagines that the people who invented nebulisers
had a keen interest in their hobby and employment before they made their
discoveries? The same goes for the engineers who made 4 x 4 drives and
the people who worked on the radio control programmes that got him
there. Does he want to write about the disasters they encountered? I
seem to remember something about the ambulance service cock up of a few
years back. I gather someone was sufficiently interested in the concept
to get it right.

I take a delight in studying natural disasters like the one due
tomorrow:

Does that make me a ghoul?

Ye man's a prick.

A troll post, just to start an argument.

If you don't like the weather, take it up with God (if he exists)

I might not agree with this man's views but this is a shameful response,
Andrew, and one not worthy of yourself or the organisation you represent.
Whether people like it or not, others are entitled to views different to
ours.

In article ,
Chris writes:
I don't believe it correct to place an emotion such as that on people for
their enjoyment of a natural event. They have not choosen that enjoyment in
preference to this childs suffering. Merely admiring nature.

I am sure all that post here would hope the child is well, as we do with any
person's injured or suffering in the current conditions.

Well put. I agree 100%.

Well done!

It snows.. folk did not make it snow. Are all the media types telling
us how glorious last summer was wearing sackcloth and ashes in the
face of a 5 digit death toll? No.

There is a sinister implication here, that a population can influence
a natural process by the power of wishing. A bit too woo woo for my
taste.

Hope all is going well. Best wishes for a fast recovery.
