Low pressure (970mb) lies to the west/southwest of Iceland, with a
secondary low (990mb) to the southwest of the main low in the
mid-Atlantic. High pressure (1030mb) lies over much of the
Mediterranean. Winds across the country are fresh to strong
south/southwesterlies in many areas. Most areas will see rain or
showers. Temperatures will be close to or just above normal. Beyond
this conditions are generally mild and very unsettled with the best of
the dry weather in the southeast.

(1030mb) lies over the Mediterranean. Winds across the country are
mostly fresh to strong southwesterlies, with gales possible in the
southwest later. Most parts will see rain or showers at times. 850hpa
temperatures range from 0C in the northeast to +5C in the south.
Forecast 2m temperatures range from +9C in the north to +12C in the
south. Beyond this conditions are fairly mild and unsettled in all
parts.

couple of secondary centres (980mb and 981mb) on its southern and
western flank. Winds across the country are mainly fresh to strong
west/southwesterlies with local gales. Many areas will see rain or
showers. Temperatures will be close to or just above normal in many
areas.

Summary:
Next week continues to look unsettled and mild with wind and rain at
times. The southeast will see the most of any dry weather, but even
here rain is likely at times.
