Hi All,
Just been to Metcheck's website to look at the updates, and noticed that hey had put; "Big change though on the way next week..." under the Cool, Calm and Dry news item on their front page ... Anyone care to elaborate on this? Cheers Rob. |

Anyone care to elaborate on this? from http://www.metcheck.com/discussion.asp New data passed to us from GWS datasets show a possible cold period for the UK from the 19th onwards. The key is a low pressure area developing off Eastern Canada throwing WAA up the Western side of Greenland. Arctic ridging is a distinct scenario with jet shift towards the end of the period causing a breakaway Greenlandic high introducing a cold Easterly across Western Europe. Don't discount this model run, good GFS BUFR input. |
