It works on Macintosh (OS X, Safari and IE).
It gives a translation of METAR data in about 0.6 seconds.

I quite like that little script 'Volvo'

It's pretty humid in Orlando last night (as it were):

This is a report for Orlando, Orlando International Airport, United States.
The report was made one hour and 8 minutes ago, at 07:53 UTC. The wind was
blowing at a speed of 2.1 meters per second (4.6 miles per hour) from
north/northeast (030°). The temperature was 24 °C (75 °F), with a dew-point
at 24 °C (75 °F). The temperature feels like 22 °C (72 °F). The atmospheric
pressure was 1022 hPa (30.17 inHg). The relative humidity was 100.0%. There
were scattered clouds at a height of 7620 meter (25000 feet). The overall
visibility was 16.1 kilometers (10.0 miles).

yeap that is a good idea...

till than what a "bookmark this page" button?

there is also a nonworking part of the script which keeps the history in
database. When I run it I think it will be more valuable.

I have just tried it with IE 6.0 and it works fine. It think it will be
useful too, for checking the latest reports from my nearest weather

staition.
That leads me to suggest that you add a cookie so that when some one

returns
to the site it will take them straight to the last station they visited

the
previous time.

HTH,

Cheers, Alastair.

Great! That works better than my idea, and saves having to explain
to ignorant souls like me that bookmarking that page will save the
settings :-)

Cheers, Alastair.
