FYI
Last week's rainfall for Bristol (Totterdown) was a staggering 78.0 mm (see individual days below). The 30 year monthly average for July in Bristol is 49.7 mm. This means that last week alone we had 150% (156.9%) of the monthly average. Even more surprising at this time of year is that this came from depressional fronts rather than thunderstorms. mm Date 15.2 20/07/2003 11.0 21/07/2003 1.2 22/07/2003 6.0 23/07/2003 11.5 24/07/2003 21.1 25/07/2003 12.0 26/07/2003 Regards Barry Horton www.afour.demon.co.uk/weather.htm |
