Showers of mainly light snow here in Wallsend, produced by the usual
stratocumulonimbus in deep cold air. The east and south cams are picking up
these admittedly weak showers.

I'm getting 3C on the Davis.

1523z. A fairly hefty shower of large snowflakes and snow pellets has just
gone through, leaving a dusting on the roofs. That cb actually had an anvil,
the first today (:

Snow showers in Moray too, some moderately heavy, with large flakes. It's
fairly put paid to any gliding today :-(

Brief hail shower about 1300 nr. Colchester, Essex, otherwise just showers
of rain; wind NNE up to 20 kt NNE gusting to 25kt most of day, sky now
cleared and wind dropped.
