The wife suggested a thread on the lines of the 'I'm sorry I haven't a
clue' prog.

One for starters:

Mr and Mrs Thanitwasyesterday and their dismal daughter, Claudia
Thanitwasyesterday

Any more?

Musical accompaniment will be provided by Victor Sylvester playing your all

Default Late arrivals at the Meteorologists' ball

And a special hello to this fleeting threesome, just arrived from the
Fishermen's Ball....but suitably attired for the Meteorologist's Ball also :
Mr and Mrs Erbank and their Dog.
I should also like to add that accompanying them, fresh from the Hospital
Ball, ably organised by Lady Owers and her husband ,Sir Gerry, were a
Scandinavian threesome also, Mr and Mrs Toplast, and their son Lars. I hear
the music was organised by Mr and Mrs Ube and their pornographic son, Blue
Dan.

And if memory serves me right, I distinctly recall him
arriving in his Humber, dressed as always in a Fair Isle
sweater.

Daughter? The former (and maybe present) photographic editor of Weather was
Storm Dunlop, who's definitely a bloke. I've met him.

Meanwhile can we have a big hand, please for Mr and Mrs
Bennettlookatthebloodyraingetthewashingin and their son Gordon.......

More in this style at http://rab.angrycake.com/mc/

to which I am a contributor, under a misleading and rubicund pseudonym.

Much of the stuff here has been well up to that standard. :-)
