Question on temperature prediction.
I thought I was getting the hang of predicting temperature to some extent. I
am confused as to why Thursday has approx 520 dam air and 850 hpa of about -8, (the lowest these figures have been this winter) the predicted max temperature is around 6C for the SE. I know these things aren't a clear linear relationships and there are other factors but +14 on the 850 hpa temp seems a lot. Why is this? Any help appreciated, thanks, Dave. |
