18-19z Map
Plotted map this evening [on website] shows the polar low in the Channel

Hi Phil
Not many Polar Lows make it down here and it isn't a particularly potent one, but you were right about the Swlies. Currently +0.4C, light snow with a 5kt SSE'ly and about 1cm of snow lying.
