02:30 GMT - Light snow, -2°C. Settling readily on both Tarmac and
grass, but snow is too light and flakes too small to produce any significant cover. Just been outside to watch the lamp-post, and it is absolutely perishing! I think the powers that be are missing a trick he could not a sensor be fitted to a selection of lamp-posts which detects 'solid' PPN in the beam between the lamp and the sensor? After all, we do this with standard AWS. Does anyone know of any work in this area. Martin. |
