Default For goodness sake bring these bloody fools in out of the cold!

I wish that whoever is running the BBC these days would do something
about the outside broadcasts that are given in the name of
weather-forecasts in the morning programme on BBC 1.

In an exchange between the div on duty this morning and the two in the
studio, the one whose job it is to know things about the weather said:

"It's stinging. It's not funny."

It isn't very professional either.

Funny, I had lunch with Bill Giles yesterday and we were discussing the
changes at the Beeb since he left, he did mention something like that...

LOL, was amazing though, especially as I'd kinda grown up with the Giles,
McCaskill, Fish, Tranter team, so to meet the man in person was fantastic
and he really is as much of a weather fan as all of us here.

What was funny, was when he pulled out a piece of paper with latest
observations on them sketched onto a UK map and had drawn the isobars and
isallobaric areas to show the development of the system which affected
Western areas yesterday. Needless to say, his prediction was spot on.

However, I take it that some editor or other has decided to go for
