Default Met Office Monthly Outlook

I see the Met Office has dropped the one liner monthly outlook and is now issuing its monthly prospects on the BBC site. It will
be updated every Monday.

I think they need a sub-editor. I found twelve grammatical errors
in the first few paragraphs before I gave up counting.

Yes, you are right Jon, the original is still there.
I should have said, they have added a more comprehensive outlook on the BBC site.

Its all in the presentation... in a box of its own the Month ahead - then
mentions just one week.

"The month ahead
The week ahead will be rather showery and some of the showers are likely to
turn wintry. They will be most frequent in the north and east. "

Then at the end of the outlook in a box of its own:
"Next week
With Bank Holidays coming thick and fast, what are the prospects for the
first weekend in May?"

when I think it means next month

Phil

Good to see the more detailed monthly prospect. Well done Met. Office
and BBC, will be worth keeping a copy of these, but let's not shoot
the messenger please :-)
