A few showers near the east coast on Wednesday night. Showers develop in
eastern and southern England on Thursday afternoon but become confined to
the SE and south coast by evening. Some frontal rain reaches western

Hi, Paul,

Spadeadam was the place our own Blue Streak rocket was tested way back
(1960's?). Rocket WD40 originated during that project as far as I know.

It's in Cumbria, close to the Northumberland border - Hadrian's Wall
area and about 1,000ft amsl. I think it's still RAF.

.... Cumbria - there is an RAF live-firing range there hence the reports;
near the Northumberland border, in the Spadeadam Forest area.
