Default Cheerless Afternoon

After being rather sunny and pleasant until mid-morning, it's been
dull and damp with blowing light rain and drizzle for much of the
afternoon and early evening, the kind of stuff the radar can't pick
up on very well. Temp been rising steadily though, now up to 9.3C
so I guess that's the warm front through.

Hopefully that's the worst weather of the Easter weekend gone.
It's certainly looking rather better than looked likely earlier in the week.

Yes the warm front is through Col but we're left in the warm sector and a
very moist boundary layer it is indeed. We've had fog since mid-afternoon
which is now quite extensive. The cloud base must be around 400' or so here.
Not sure what altitude you're at in Bolton but the fog mustn't be that far
above you if you're not in it !!

Yes, 160m which is 500 feet.
Not foggy, but it seemed pretty murky at times.

31c here in Orlando, wall-to-wall sunshine. Sorry, couldn't help myself -
out here with work.

But back home tomorrow
