Ladies & gentlemen,

For a couple of days I can't reach the following sites:

http://www.nrlmry.navy.mil/tc_pages/tc_home.html
https://www.fnmoc.navy.mil/PUBLIC/OTIS/otis.html

Have they gone off line? My browser supports 128 bit encryption, and
all recommended settings (SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0) are marked, so
that shouldn't be the problem.

I'm in the same position as you Evert. I cannot get to it via my normal
adsl IP address, yet can on dial-up with another ISP. I asked my main ISP
about this and they indicated a range of their IP addresses had been either
blocked by that site, or by DNS servers upstream of that site. I emailed
the webmaster who indicated there was no blocking on his part. It appears
to be a DNS problem in the USA. I still have no direct access but can get
there using my ISP's suggestion, to use an anonimising proxy.

If you go here, you can enter the URL at the bottom and that will let you
see it. What it does is seemingly change your IP address to one acceptable

No doubt an FBI security drama queen overlooked that. I can't imagine a
mustachioed, AK47 wielding, dynamite clad, suicidal maniac being clever
enough to outsmart those petticoated ballet dancers.
