Outbreaks of light rain in northern England and parts of south Wales, SW and
SE England on Friday night. More organised band of rain crosses SE England
later in the night and early on Saturday morning. Some outbreaks of light
rain reported in SE England on Saturday afternoon that do not show up on the
radar.

Aha! I can at last claim to be the wettest place in the country. My
rain-gauge
collected 3.4mm during the requisite period. I wondered where it
all came
from, and ... echoing another thread ... it didn't seem that the
radar echoes
overnight last night could have provided more than 1mm or so.

I now await supersedence ... or is it supersession?
