Default Saturday April 24th 2004 Weather Forecast

Ladies and Gents,

I have been lurking on here for a while and some of you seem pretty good at
this weather forecasting so here's a challenge for you.

I need a weather forecast for the above date for the Bishops Waltham area
(middle of the triangle formed by Portsmouth, Winchester, Southampton).
There may even be a prize for whoever gets it the closest!

TIA

Jon

Jon, You could argue that this area's weather is the best in the country for
holiday makers if you take into account a combination of fairly high
sunshine values, only moderate rainfall, some degree of shelter from the
Isle of Wight and protected from cold north east winds by the Downs.
On a more specific note it does look as though the pressure will rise and
the Weekend of the 24th turn out quite warm, mostly dry with sunny spells
after a relatively unsettled earlier part of the week. I am hoping that this
will materialize to make my long range forecast for April just about on
track.

Looks good so far. Have to wait to see whether people are right first of
all!
