Default Countryfile .. Sunday 18th BBC2 (change of Channel)

For those who set VCR's etc., note that due to coverage of the Marathon,
'Countryfile' is on BBC2 today, and later, from 1210 to 1240 (though the
Radio Times listing doesn't mention a weather forecast.)

Martin.

Good news for tree huggers. The English Oak seems to be resistant to
Sudden Death Oak Disease. And a hybid of Japanese, Siberian and Red Elms
looks set to replace the devastation brought on us with Dutch Elm
Disease.

We'll see.

The forecast showed an occluded front would broach at Norway on the 23rd
(Friday.)

No appologies then for cross posting this thread. (So if you don't want
to appear in the kook forum, watch you cross posts.)

Maybe -but with such bravura.

"The ridiculer has sought to find wisdom but there is none. To the
understanding one, knowledge is an easy thing."

Which all comes to naught of course, if the forecast goes wrong. In
which case I suppose you could say that "The shrewd man covers knowledge
but the stupid ones speak out from the heart."

I notice that you are a shrewd poster. (But I speak from the heart.)

Load of guff snipped

It would have seemed that you had been proven correct in your surmising
of my work. However given the quietness prior to the 21st it turns out
you are just as great a ****** as the other trolls who fequent this
group.

Believe it or not, I am really sorry about that.

On the other hand of course, it remains to be seen if a really large
quake will occur. Or, since we are now offically in the N. Atlantic's
hurricane season.....
