Default Lowest pressure

This morning at obs. time was the lowest air pressure in my Coulsdon-Surrey
station record for April in 25 years at 978mb and the glass is still
falling. The air pressure is now lower in my area than that measured in the
great April 29th storm 1882 which destroyed much spring foilage across
southern England due to wind blown salt from the Channel.

Hi Ian

Here at Washington, Tyne and Wear, my OS WS is reading 971. Lowest I've

What about the 975 mb at about 0200Z on 1 April 1994? (See earlier thread).
(Paul) Lowest pressure in your area according to METARs from Tees-side and
Newcastle is 976 mb.
