[WR} Rain 26/4
Like Sheffield we had some pretty severe rainfall on Monday, which of course
I missed as I was in York. The village green had reverted to its former status as a pond, whilst there was significant standing water on top of the Wolds. Eddsfield airfield weather station ( amile up the road) was unfortunately struck by lightning after having recorded 8mm in 11 minutes. -- David Mitchell. 70m amsl, Langtoft, East Riding of Yorkshire. |
