Interesting to see the IOM with today's highest temp of 16C.
http://www.medvale.demon.co.uk/weath...s/mx300404.jpg Now that can't happen very often, certainly not at this time of year. I recorded 15.0C, very respectable compared to some of those rather dismal readings in the south. I see there is some warm/hot weather not too far away on the near continent, though there seems no chance of it moving over here..... Col Yes it is, I live on the island north central, approx 150m ASL. My highest today was 14C at the house, the car thermometer only recorded 14C at sea level, in bright sunshine too. Ronaldsway in the SE is about 25 miles away, presumably they had some shelter from the fresh Northerly we've had all day. -- Bill |

Yes, I noticed on yesterday's forecast that NW England looked likely to get the highests temps today. Definately the place to be today/tomorrow!
