Hi all,
I run an AWS and was wondering whether my I should rollover my records on the first or last day of the month, since I realise it differs from country to country. What's our standard here in the UK? My records run from 10am to 10am BST currently. Thanks. Paul |

Dont quote me but it should be 10am during the summer and 9am during the
winter. Your records for the new month should start at 1000hrs on May 1st and stop at 0959hrs June 1st This is what I will be doing for my Met Office Climat Station - however there are plenty of others especially with auto sites that run midnight to midnight and other times depending on there work committments. -- Paul Crabtree Brampton N.E. I must say that this site in Crawley Down runs from midnight to midnight as i
think most AWS's do.I do fix the time to UTC/GMT and that does confuse some people but helps keep the records straight when the clocks change. |
